Doctrine #13 of La Luz Del Mundo

God's Blessing to you and may the Holy Spirit bring the Light of Truth to our Hearts.

Here is the thirteenth of fourteen main doctrines that are taught by La Luz Del Mundo. When you see me post more than one doctrine it is because these doctrines are very similar in subject and therefore are covered by the same scripture references.

After each doctrine(s), I have listed scripture verses that address the particular doctrine(s) in question. Please read the doctrine(s) and the verses with your Bible so that you my fully appreciate the the scripture in context, and read out loud even if you are by yourself.

(Romans 10:17) - "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ."

For a full listing of all of the fourteen doctrines go to my posting "True Doctrines of La Luz Del Mundo" date August 13, 2009.

#13 - “It is not enough to believe in just Jesus Christ. We must believe in the one sent of God, the man Samuel Joaquin.”

Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;"

Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?"

Even after Jesus had done all these miraculous signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him.

Then Jesus cried out, "When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me.

"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"

No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."

They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."

Acts 19:4

Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus."

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,

but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.

But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life.

My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism.

And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.1

PERSONAL COMMENTS:

THIS LIST IS A DIRECT WORD SEARCH OF "BELIEVE" IN THE NEW TESTAMENT. AS YOU CAN SEE NO WHERE IN THE SCRIPTURES DOES THE ORIGINAL APOSTLES RECORD, AT ANY TIME, THAT WE MUST ALSO BELIEVE IN THEM IN ORDER TO RECEIVE SALVATION.

MUST YOU BELIEVE THAT THE MESSENGER IS A TRUE AND AUTHORIZED BEARER OF THE MESSAGE? YES.

BUT THE POWER IS NOT IN THE MESSENGER, BUT THE MESSAGE!

God's blessings through our Lord Jesus Christ as powered by the Holy Spirit, Amen.

  2. Dear Anonymous,

I thank you for taking the time to read and comment on this doctrinal statement and I give thanks and praise to the Holy Spirit for guiding you to this site.

I usually respond with a request for Scripture to be cited that would support this statement, but this time will not be the case for I know that there is no Scripture that can support such a statement.

And in all of my year associated with LLDM no Scripture has ever been presented that shows that any of the original foundational apostle of Jesus the Christ ever made such a declaration of rejecting them was to reject Jesus the Christ and therefore not have access to the Father.

Everyone of them always declared that to reject the "Message" was to reject the Messiah and therefore reject the Father.

If you are willing, please go to the Sept 09 posting titled "Its the Message, Not the Messenger - Act 10 & 11". In this posting I give a clear discussion on exactly what the original apostles thought about themselves as only messengers of the true gospel and all must only come to the Christ Jesus and look upon him for salvation.

I am sorry to inform you that the only true equation for salvation is-

Jesus Christ = Father and not (a man)+ Jesus Christ.

Read the Gospel of John and then read the Book of Hebrews for we are no longer required to look to a earthly high priest in order to gain access to the Father in heaven because now, and for the past 2000 years, we have had the true High Priest already in heaven for us the Lord Jesus the Christ.

  4. Dear Anonymous,

The issue is rather anyone "preaching" is calling everyone’s attention to Jesus Christ only as the way for salvation (John 14:6), or are they calling attention to themselves as the only way for salvation, because only through hearing the word from them and being under their authority will anyone be able to come to Jesus Christ.

Anyone who preaches as such is called a “Gatekeeper Preacher”, because they are declaring that they alone hold the truth and the “keys to heaven”.

Let me ask you this question?

During the course of my "web preaching" I am declaring that all must only receive the truth through me and only be under my authority for salvation and the forgiveness of sins?

My mission is the same as John the Baptist’s as he quoted Isaiah.

    (Matthew 3:3)

This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
"A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
'Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.' "

I am nothing but a sign post point to the path that leads to the Lord Jesus the Christ and to eternal life in the Father. Not a detour directly lost souls away from the one true path and directing them to a false path that leads to destruction and an eternity with out the Father in heaven.

So to answer your question: “chris you say that you dont need no one to show someone the word of god”. You would need to clarify the difference between someone showing another person the word God (the Holy Bible) and someone declaring that the word of God can only come from them.

There is someone that we must have here on earth in order to understand and receive the truth of the Word, and that person is the Holy Spirit. When I show someone the word of God I am bring to them the free gift of the truth, the invitation to allow themselves to invite the Holy Spirit to teach them the ways of the Father and of the Son.

Over the past few years that most powerful way that I have come to present this invitation is through the Gospel of John. I hand out a little pocket book that only contains this gospel and walk away never even giving my name or contact information. I don’t even have a congregation. I trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to work his powers over them as they may or may not read the little pocket Gospel of John that I hand to them.

I encourage you with all love in Christ Jesus to do the same and read the Gospel of John for yourself and read it out loud so that you can hear the words of God all the time looking to the Holy Spirit to be your personal teacher, mentor and counselor.

All for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

  6. i am a member of lldm i will go by the name gabriel just so ppl can refer to me as that and not anonymous. ok well i would like to answer any questions about our beliefs! i would like to start the conversation or debate by stating that jesus christ is NOT god in the flesh!! God cannot be flogged or spat at or humiliated!! he cannot die in any way!! nor can god be born from a woman!!! no, Jesus christ is the son of god! this can be a starting statement to our debate..i will keep an open mind to others beliefs and whatever comment i make will not be to offend anyone!so if u are offended by something i may say i apologize before hand! i believe in the Apostle samuel joaquin flores and we at lldm have learned everything we know from him! i also read the part stating "THIS LIST IS A DIRECT WORD SEARCH OF "BELIEVE" IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.

YES.

BUT THE POWER IS NOT IN THE MESSENGER, BUT THE MESSAGE!

this message is not accurate according to the bible

hebrews 3 verse 1:"Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest."

jesus christ can be seen as the first apostle because he came with the good news of salvation!! he announced it! so according to the comment made stating "the power is in the message not the messenger" jesus has no power! lol we know thats false

an apostle is necessary! they are ambassadors of christ. God reconciled himself through the world through his son and gave the apostles the ministry of reconciliation...in other words God can forgive ur sins through the ministry of reconciliation that only an apostle holds... the word reconciliation means "To reestablish a close relationship between". now when a person sins, all that awaits him is death because christ cannot be brought down to die again for our sins, however this is where the ministry of rconciliation comes in and why we have the need for Apostles!!!

    2 corinthians 5: verse 17-21

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and HAS GIVEN US the MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has COMMITTED TO US the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST, AS THOUGH GOD WERE PLEADING THROUGH US: we implore you ON CHRIST'S BEHALF, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

as you can see an apostle is very necessary for our salvation! without them we do not have the ministry of reconciliation on earth! many ppl do not think we need apostles and that they were only used by god in the times of the bible, however the scripture sais that God is the same yesterday now and forever! the doctrine does not change! it is just much easier to think that we dont need apostles. the fact of the matter is we do!!!

  9. Nowhere in the Bible does it say you have to believe in samuel to be saved. Blasphemy

  10. I forgot to add I was also baptized in the church, the teachings of lldm go completely against the Bible, also lldm doesn't teach love and peace they teach fear and persecution. The only reason people persecute the church is due to the false belief that the catholic church is plotting against lldm lol. Paranoia and fear seems to be the way to riches for samuel and his future heir to his throne

  11. Of course the false preacher Chris Tarrant, gets the formula wrong. Its:

Disciples + Apostle of Jesus Christ = Jesus Christ= God.

Just as Moses led Israel and showed them the 10 commandments. Like my friend said on one of his post, God doesn't change. Read Matthew 10:40 and John 13:20.

"He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me." (Matthew 10:40 KJV)

20 "Truly, truly, I say to you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives him that sent me. …"

Don't take my word for it nor Chris Tarrant's word for it, but please, take the Lord's word for it.

  12. How do I become LLDM? I'm not LLDM myself but I feel in love with the church. Nobody in my family is from LLDM. I took interest in LLDM because I have friends that go there. I've been looking to join a different church and I set my eyes on the one I want to be in. I'm scared to ask my friend because I'm scared that he will say that the people from the church will reject me due to the fact that I wasn't born into LLDM. Please help me. Thank you.

  13. You don't have to be born into LLDM. However, you can be born-again and your sins forgiven by the first step of faith, the Baptism. I invite you to the prayers, and to come with a sincere heart. Your family may object, but this is nothing new, for The Lord said:

"For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. (Matthew 10:35-37 KJV)

  15. It appears this blog has been forgotten for some time. I have recently found myself in conversation with an LLDM member. I myself am a youth pastor at a Converge PacWest denominational church. I am thankful for what was posted (Comments included). I just wanted to thank Christopher for his research here. I have found it very helpful.
